Dante Gebel Alpharetta reviews
Bonamassa - excellent as always
"I've seen Dante Gebel in DC, Virginia Beach, Baltimore, and Richmond four times. Each show had exceptional musicians and a unique setup. However, I was not a fan of the venue due to poor acoustics or excessively loud sound. Everything sounded distorted and fuzzy, leading my wife and I, along with others, to leave after two hours. Even now, I still have occasional ringing in my ears. I will never forget my volume attenuating ear plugs again. Despite this, the two hours were amazing. The band kept going non-stop, with Anton Fig on drums, Michael Rhodes on bass, and Reese Wyans on keyboards. Lee Thornburg played trumpet, Paulie Cerra on sax, and two impressive singers whose names I missed. Check Bonamassa's website for their bios if you're unfamiliar. If you enjoy exceptional guitar work, talented musicians, and an energetic performance, you must see Dante Gebel."
